Here's a preview of our devotional, New In Every Way, coming this May at the 2025 Chosen by Love Day Retreat. These are the conversations we will have from the stage as we unfold the heart of God for you that day. It will propel you further into your God given destiny as a child of God. We are most certain of it!

There is a thief among us who is constantly trying to steal these gifts of truth from us. But He is no match for our God. More truth to hold onto. These are truths that we can store and hide in our hearts and allow them to overflow in our lives as battle songs against our adversary.

Another gift we receive is a heavenly heart transplant. Romans 9:10 says ‘the heart that believes in him receives the gift of righteousness of God’ which in turn makes our heart good. It has been made new. It stores the very essence of heaven, our Lord Jesus Christ.

If you have thought that your heart is wicked because of the emotions that you have had, I want to caution you that not every thought or emotion is yours. Just as Holy Spirit speaks to you to influence you from the very throne of God, the evil one attempts to do the same to steal that very holy voice by bombarding you with his lies. These attacks are purposed to make you believe you are not good and that your heart is filled with evil. It is further from the truth based on the preceding scripture. These lies are a smoke screen to keep you fighting yourself instead of the one who is attacking you. You have been made new and now you have new battles to fight, of which you are already victorious by the power of the cross. Scripture becomes our truth that overflows from our hearts not only as battle cries, but songs of victory.

The word new is everywhere.

As we step into October and November, we call it a new season. Soon, we’ll ring in a new year. We buy new clothes, welcome new babies, and mark new beginnings in countless ways. The word is used so often that we can lose sight of its deeper meaning.

In 2 Corinthians 5:17, the Apostle Paul reminds us: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” These words are powerful, full of life-changing truth. Yet because “new” feels so ordinary, we can easily miss the magnitude of what Paul is declaring.

That’s why we are thrilled to announce the theme for the 2026 Chosen by Love Day Retreat: New in Every Way. Together, we’ll explore Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians 5, discovering what they truly mean and how it affects our lives here on Earth.

Our team has already begun preparing, and the Lord is moving powerfully through the process. We cannot wait to share this journey with you.

When Structure Meets Spirit:

Leaning Into the Voice of God

I don’t know if you’ve ever taken one of the many personality tests out there, but I have,

more than I can count. At this point, I usually know where I’ll land before answering a

single question. I thrive in well-structured environments. Organization and efficiency are

top priorities for people with my personality type.

Thankfully, the Lord knows exactly how He made me. He often speaks to me in a blunt

and direct way that only someone with a similar personality might appreciate. But there

are definitely times when my relationship with Him feels anything but efficient. There is

no ten-step process that can capture the vast ways God moves and communicates.

That’s why the best encouragement I can offer, both to myself and to others, is this: get

to know His voice. Hearing from Him directly, sensing His peace, and recognizing when

it’s absent is the broadest structure I can rely on in a relationship that defies structure.

Even as someone who craves order, God’s voice carries me through situations that

require more flexibility than I’d ever choose on my own. And I don’t just have to grin and

bear it. He gives me His peace and grace in the process.

This union with Him is the most beautiful and at times most frustrating relationship I’ve

ever known. At times, it feels natural and seamless. Other times, it feels foreign and

stretching. But I wouldn’t trade it. With every encounter, it becomes more seamless. I

continue to rest in the truth that I “have the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:16). Not

"share"—have. I’m not waiting for Him to hand me a portion of what’s mine. I already

have it. And so do you. We are one with Him.

So, whatever twists and turns you're facing today, lean into the One who holds you and

holds nothing back from you. You have His mind. You have His heart. You are deeply

united with Him who holds the stars and knows the way through it all.

Hope Fulfilled

Hello Beautiful!

This year's theme for The Chosen by Love Day Retreat is Hope Fulfilled . We are borrowing from the story of Mary Magdalene to see how her life might resemble ours.

Oftentimes, we use the term hope fulfilled when our prayers have been answered. We know they have been answered because we see the answer with our eyes. Does that mean they are yet to be fulfilled when we have not seen them with our natural eyes? Or is it possible we are just waiting for the answer to manifest but has already been fulfilled in the spiritual realm?

These are some of the big questions we can face as believers and mysteries we may not comprehend on this side of heaven. But I want to be the one who errs on the side of faith. How about you? Let’s no longer defer our hope; instead, let’s be that tree of life, knowing that our desires have already been fulfilled or are on their way!

Hello Beautiful!

Here we are again, sharing more Hope Fulfilled scriptures. Let's commit not to defer our hope, making our hearts sick (Proverbs 13:12). Many commentaries describe deferred as something taking a long time, delayed, or dragging on. If you are standing in faith for a miracle, you are probably experiencing one of these feelings of deferment, which can ultimately be summed up in one word: discouragement.

I see an antidote for this in Romans 15:13. Let's break it down together. First, we read God's part; Now may God the fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace. Here is our part of the invitation: as you trust in him . Then it finishes with an additional promise when we accept His invitation; And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope!

I Iove God's part in all of this. But sometimes, we forget we have a part as well. We must trust in Him. Now, I'm not saying you don't trust Him. What I am saying is your trust is being tested because your miracle is still in process. The evil one wants you to think it will never happen, or at least not for you, or ______ you fill in the blank. That is when we sometimes lay aside our hope, and our fountain seems to run dry because our focus has been diverted to the lies and schemes of the enemy instead of God's truth that reigns eternal.

Hope of Glory

This scripture is filled with hope and promise. Let this verse flood your spirit with the understanding that the living Christ is living in you. By choice. How marvelous is that?

He chose to share the mystery and treasure of heaven so you can live it here on earth. How highly must he think of you?

Not only did He die for you and become your Savior, He calls you a friend.

One of our speakers, Lindsey Snell, from our 2024 Chosen by Love Day Retreat- Hope Fulfilled, expounded on the truth of Jesus’ desire for you.

Just like He showed up for Mary Magdalene at the tomb, He’s been showing up for you all of your life. Like Mary, sometimes we don't recognize Him because we are so caught up in our circumstances.

Keep the truth ever-present that your slate has been completely cleared, restored, and made new. Jesus did this through the cross because He wants to be friends and build relationship with you. He wants to be closer than a brother. He embeds His life in you and shares His life with you. That sounds like perfect love. Don’t you love it?

November 2024 - Hope Against Hope

Hope Against Hope

This phrase has been running through my mind for the past month. Hope against hope on the surface seems like a fool’s errand. Why would you continue hoping something will happen when the likelihood of it happening is almost non-existent? And yet, as Christians this is often the exact position we find ourselves in. In Romans 4:18 Paul recounts the story of Abraham. “In hope, he believed against hope.” As you read further in verse 20-21 it says “No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.”

What stands out to me here is the promise of God . There are many things in this world that are uncertain. Usually the term “hope against hope” is a platitude used to bring comfort. When we hope against hope in the things of this world, it IS a fool’s errand. But when we hope against hope in the promises of God, our footing could not be more secure, as noted in the words of this old hymn.

Three Stories - One Heart

At this year’s 2025 Chosen by Love Day Retreat we will visit three different stories in the Bible that reveal one heart- the heart of Jesus. In the book of John, we see a heartfelt prayer from Jesus to The Father, expressing His desire that we be One with Him.

The Royal We

I’ve heard this phrase used many times, and context clues have always led me to a decent understanding of its intended meaning. While reflecting on our theme, “One with Him,” the phrase “the royal we” popped into my mind, so I decided to look up its origin. It turns out it was originally used to invoke the concept of the divine right of kings—suggesting the monarch spoke for both themselves and God. Today, the phrase is often used informally or humorously to sound pompous or to shift responsibility away from oneself.

It’s a good thing we no longer blindly take any one man’s word as speaking for God. That said, what if we dared to adopt this phrase more intentionally when it comes to our walk with the Lord? I believe it can help us align more deeply with the reality that we are, in fact, one with Christ. We are already united. It’s no longer just “I say” and “He says.” It’s now “the royal we.” There is no longer any divide between us.

I understand it might sound pompous or arrogant to some. But when we truly grasp the reality of being one with Him, we recognize that none of this is possible without the Lord. We can’t do it on our own. At the same time, it’s almost insulting to continue speaking as if a divide still exists—when Jesus has already removed it.

So whatever phrase or way of thinking helps you align with the truth that you are already united with Christ—and that there is no longer any separation—embrace it. We share the mind of Christ ( Colossians 3:1–3 ), and it’s not pompous or arrogant to agree with the Lord.

July 2025 - Mixed Emotions

Mixed Emotions

I recently had a very interesting conversation about how even Jesus doesn’t know the hour and time of His return. It wasn’t a new idea, as scripture makes it clear that no one knows the hour or the day (Matthew 24:36), but it did make me wonder about the different emotions that Jesus may be experiencing as He joins us in waiting for His return. I understand that Jesus trusts the Father explicitly, but one can still trust someone and experience different feelings. Is Jesus bored and ready to be given the green light? Is He pleading on our behalf? Is He floating down a river of peace, totally relaxed and at ease? Maybe it's like me some days, and He experiences all those feelings within hours of each other.

One of the more difficult things about wrapping my head around being One with Him is realizing that if I am one with Him, He is one with me. He not only knows my thoughts and emotions, but He also understands and experiences them. It brings me a great deal of comfort to know that even Jesus Himself doesn’t know the whole plan, and yet He stands with me in trusting the Father. It makes me feel connected and not left on my own to muster up some faith as I watch world events twist and turn. Jesus knows how to walk through these emotions in love, truth, and freedom, which means together, WE can walk through them in love, truth, and freedom!

Happy New Year!

I hope your holiday season was filled with much joy and laughter!

As I sit here writing, I am convinced that whoever came up with the notion of New Year’s resolutions was not the same person who put all the Christmas decorations away. It took me twice as long to put them away as it did to set them up. By the time the holidays were over, I was so ready to sit and do nothing. As much as I like plans and goals, a week after the busiest time of year ends hardly seems like the time to make resolutions for the new year.

With that in mind, may I make a suggestion? Instead of starting the new year with a new list, take 15 minutes and sit with the Lord. Ask Him to give you words and pictures for the new year. How does He see 2024? What focus does He have for you? His burden is easy and His yoke is light. There is a good possibility He has far less planned for you to do than what you might think. Many times throughout Jesus’ ministry, He would go aside to be with His Heavenly Father. It was important for Him to get God’s perspective. There were always sick people to heal and more people to deliver. Yet, Jesus needed to hear what His Father had for Him to do.

May 2024 be a year where you feel seen and heard by your Father…a year where you accomplish all that He has before you without the added pressure of expectations from yourself or others.

Beyond the Familiar

Our hearts' prayer as we prepare for 2025 Chosen by Love Day Retreat is, “Lord, take us beyond the familiar.” This is our prayer for you too.

So much of our day-to-day happens on autopilot. God created us in such a way that our brains allow us to perform routine tasks on autopilot without conscious thought, conserving energy for more complex things. This can be such a beautiful gift!

However, at times, it can be limiting. And when it comes to our relationship with the Lord, we want both the familiar moments that help us to feel seen, known, and heard by Him, and new experiences and understandings that take us into more. Thanks to Holy Spirit, we get to have both. He knows exactly how to bridge this gap for us.

Whether in person, or in spirit, we invite you to enter in with us as we ask the Lord to take each of us beyond the familiar and into the depth and newness of life that He has for us along the way.

We look forward to seeing those who can join us April 19th. We will be exploring familiar passages, while trusting Holy Spirit to lead us into more of His heart when it comes to our theme “One with Him.”

The Kindness of God

During the Christmas season Jesus’ mother Mary is often put into the spotlight, and rightfully so. Mary responded to the angel with great courage and faith, paving the way for Jesus to enter the world. Because of the familiarity of the story, it is easy to overlook what was being asked of Mary and how she must have felt. I imagine knowing that her relative Elizabeth was also facing an impossible pregnancy brought great comfort in her unknown and potentially scary situation.

There are a million ways God could have orchestrated sending His Son to earth. I believe He showed great kindness to Mary in the way He chose. The Father could have allowed Mary to carry out His plan alone. Yet His plan included Joseph to be a support to her along with her relative Elizabeth who understood exactly what Mary was going through. Yes, He asked big things of Mary but He also showed His love in the midst of His plan for her.

Whether the holidays are something you look forward to or if they look a little more like an unknown and potentially scary situation for you, may you see the kindness of God in your own life during this Christmas season. Be on the lookout for it and I believe you will catch a glimpse of the love the Father has for you.

Hello Beautiful!

We are not letting go of the theme of Hope Fulfilled from our 2024 Chosen by Love Day Retreat. It's easy to leave a retreat or conference and move on to the next thing as we have so much vying for our attention and social media bombarding our screens. Let's agree to keep looking to the hope God has provided and promises in His word.

Many are familiar with Jeremiah 29:11, but have you read The Passion Translation? If you scrolled past it, you can find it above in the yellow box. If you read it, read it again; it's worth it! The language draws you in. First, it uses one of God's names, YAHWEH. It is used interchangeably in Exodus with "I AM." That speaks to His character and nature. I AM sums up everything in two words. He was in your past, He is in your present, and He is in your future. I AM has always been with you, continuously preparing marvelous and beautiful outcomes for your life. He promises to surround you with peace and prosperity. Imagine His arms enveloping you. Doesn't that feel wonderful? His word says He desires you to prosper in mind, body, soul, and spirit. That means every part of you. He has you covered. These are truths we can lean on and lean into. We are standing with you and call you blessed as the Lord does as you continue to believe in Him and what He has spoken to you.

Sometimes, these truths are hard to believe because they do not match your current circumstances. We applaud your faith to keep standing, regardless of what it looks like. Rest assured that God sees you and that you will not go unrewarded. You have been enduring for a long time, and we understand that sometimes it is tiring. April 2025 - Resurrected With Him

Resurrected with Him

In John 17, Jesus is praying to our Heavenly Father as He knows that His crucifixion is coming. In His prayer He asks for all believers to be One with Him. How amazing that the Savior of the world had you in mind as He was heading to the cross! It is no mistake that this year’s Day Retreat falls on Easter weekend. Being One with Him starts and ends with the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross and has everything to do with His resurrection Easter morning. Romans 6:5 says it perfectly, “If we have been united with Him like this in His death, we will certainly also be united with Him in His resurrection.” Being One with Him is not just an idea for a retreat theme, it is our earthly reality made possible by the blood of Jesus!

We are so excited to explore what that means for our lives and how to respond to Jesus’ desire to be one with us at the upcoming Chosen by Love Day Retreat. It is a timely message of a well-known concept and a perfect opportunity to gain fresh perspective on the Easter story. We have worked hard to capture the Father’s heart for the day and we can’t wait to share it with you!

May 2025 - A Sacred Time

Sacred Time

You did it! You showed up and God did not disappoint! He met with His Beloved in curated ways, making each of us feel O ne with Him. This was truly a sacred time and a sacred space. We traveled to Samaria and we met Jesus at the well. Then we celebrated a wedding in Cana as we imagined Jesus turning water into wine. Lastly, we stood together at the Jordan River before crossing to the other side. With water being the common thread throughout these stories, Holy Spirit moved among those in attendance, bringing a refreshing of truth and freedom.

We look forward to sharing testimonies with you in the coming months.

2025 Chosen by Love Day Retreat

We hope that you had a wonderful Christmas and a joyful New Year celebration! As we step into 2025, we are so excited about all the plans the Lord has for us and all the ways He is going to move as we partner with Him!

One of the things we are most excited about for this new year is our 2025 Chosen by Love Day Retreat scheduled on April 19th. This year our theme is One With Him, which we have taken from Jesus’ words in John 17.

It is an incredibly rich and beautiful topic that flows from the desire of Jesus to be one with us and carries us forward as we have the opportunity to live it out. For this we were created, and what a privilege it is!

Amen

Imagine you are going about your day

Doing your regular routine

Maybe you’re getting ready for work

Or cooking a meal

Doing laundry

Driving in the car

Or dropping your kids off at school.

You are going about your everyday life

And suddenly, you run into/see? Jesus.

Jesus is not avoiding you

He is going out of His way

To meet with you

Why?

Because you have been chosen

And

Because He desires to be One with You.

You are startled by His presence

And yet

At the same time

It brings you comfort.

In that comfort

He confronts you

About some truths in your life

You are jarred

But just for a moment

Why?

Because

shame

has suddenly collided

with His love

You realize

He does not speak of these things to shame you

But to set you free

He looks at you

And he smiles

He desires that you see yourself

As He sees you.

He has come to restore you back to the time of Eden,

When God and His creation frolicked about their day together

With love and abandon

He is here to remind you

That One with Him

has always been His plan and design for you

Satan has also been going out of his way

But is has plan has been to kill, steal and destroy you.

The truth is,

you never needed to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil

to be like God.

You ARE already like God

Made in His image and likeness.

The truth is

you are completely loved

The truth is

He looks at you

And He is not ashamed

Session 2 Declarations and Prophetic Experience

At the well in Samaria

We saw Jesus reveal himself as the Living Water.

Now we are at a wedding in Cana

Sharing in the joy of a union

That would have been formed by love.

This wedding celebration

Can be a representation of Gods desired union

To be One with Him.

We are His bride

And He is our bridegroom.

Just like every marriage should be ….

It has been birthed in love

But there was a problem

That needed a solution

So that we could be One with Him.

On our own

We could never fulfill the law

And be One with Him.

Could the stone water jars

At the wedding in Cana resemble the law?

Could the water that filled the jars

Represent Jesus the Living Water

Who came to fulfill the law

That we could never do?

Could this be a foreshadowing of the cross…

Jesus fulfilling the law on the cross

So, that His desire

To be One with Him

Would be fulfilled.

Jesus did not ladle Himself out

Instead, He poured Himself out on the cross

And chose you.

This was done

So, Gods desire to have you

As His bride

Could be fulfilled

COMMUNION

On our own we could never fulfill the law and be One with Him.

God sent His son Jesus from heaven to earth as the solution.

God sent His son Jesus to the cross as the solution.

God resurrected Jesus on the 3rd day as the solution.

God seated Jesus at His right hand as the solution.

Jesus was the solution.

Jesus still is the solution

And Jesus will always be the solution.

Until we are reunited with Him at the wedding supper of The Lamb, let us worship Jesus by celebrating Him through the act of communion.

REPEAT AFTER ME

I take You in and acknowledge I am One with You.

(Eat the bread)

We take the cup of wine.

This wine that represents your blood and God's new covenant with us.

REPEAT AFTER ME

I take You in and acknowledge I am One with You.

(Drink the juice)

REPEAT AFTER ME

I believe it is finished.

I am One with Him.

I believe The Fountain of Living Water is One with Me.

I believe from me flows a river of living water.

I believe.

Session 3 Declarations and Prophetic Experience

Go back to Samaria with me and recall the expression on Jesus’s face as he revealed to you HE IS THE LIVING WATER.

Travel to Cana with me where we celebrated a wedding and THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB.

JESUS THE LIVING WATER POURED OUT FOR YOU.

Now

Imagine yourself standing at the water’s edge.

It’s the Jordan river and the time to cross has come.

At its most narrow point it is approximately 50 feet wide.

At its broadest point it is approximately 1 mile wide.

At its deepest it is 10 feet.

The Jordan is what stands between you and your promise

You look at the water and wonder if it’s too deep.

Can you make it across?

Your eyes begin to survey the banks of the Jordan for an easier entry point.

You look to the left

And then to the right.

Your eyes begin to scan across the water looking for the shortest distance across.

You look down at your feet

It appears you are at the perfect place to cross to the other side.

You lift your gaze and your eyes scan across the water and eventually arrive on the other side to your land of promise.

You look at yourself and are reminded by the garments that you are wearing that you are:

-a royal priesthood.

-a chosen people

-a holy nation

-God’s special possession.

You are the priestess that will carry the ark of the covenant across.

BUT

Unlike the 4 or more priests, it took to carry the ark of the covenant across the Jordan.

You realize you have become the living ark that carries the Covenant Keeper himself.

You have become One with Him.

You have become the convent keeper.

You have become the promise.

NOW

All you have to do is believe

Believe in Him

Believe in the promise

Believe in you

YOU ARE READY

With a deep breath in

And a deep breath out

See yourself again at the Jordan.

See yourself as the priestess

See yourself as the One with Him

See yourself as the covenant keeper

See yourself as the promise

Take one step forward

As you do …the water begins to recede.

The thing between you and your promise … no longer exists.

You’ve taken your first step… but there are many more before you get to the other side

Take another step.

You keep walking and find yourself in the middle

You stop for a moment, and you look back at those still on the bank

You look at their faces

Some show signs of awe and wonder

Others show signs of fear and unbelief

Tears of joy and relief streaming down the face of others

Some wrestling with shame and unworthiness

Others ready to join you

You look forward and wonder if you should keep going?

Do you stand and wait as the Levitical priests did so that those that belong to the promise can cross to the other side, too?

You can

You can also give them a nod, or a gesture to let them know it’s safe to enter

Or maybe your style is more like a big wave inviting them to join you on the other side.

The wave or the nod serves as a reminder that:

they too, ARE

Priestess’s and priests

they too, ARE

The covenant keepers

they too, ARE

The promise

they too, ARE

One with Him

In Samaria you met with Jesus - THE LIVING WATER

who changed your past and calls you priest, loved and chosen.

THE LIVING WATER has taken residence in you

and now you are a spring of living water.

REMEMBER - You ARE One with Him.

In Cana you were a guest at a wedding and witnessed Jesus turn water into wine.

You took communion representing the new covenant of the cross.

You are the representation of the new covenant.

You are the new covenant.

REMEMBER - You ARE One with Him.

At the Jordan you stood at the water’s edge,

And you stepped in as the priestess.

You no longer carry the ark of the covenant

You are the ark who carries the covenant.

You are the covenant keeper

You are the promise

You ARE One with Him!

HOPE FULFILLED – PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS & SCRIPTURES

Session 1

God is saying to you -

I am here to meet with you

No more hiding – when I see you and I see your heart, I see My Son

When I see the scars of your heart from your past – I see the scars of My Son from the cross

They are both beautiful to Me

Do not be afraid of your future and what it can hold

For I your Loving Father hold the heart of your future in My hand

No more shame – I your Heavenly Father am not ashamed to call you daughter

With great pride – I adopted you and gave you My inheritance

Now I speak My words to you from Song of Songs 8:6 -

Place ME, Your Father and Your Friend, like a seal over your heart

I Am your constant companion, like a seal on your arm

For MY love is as strong as death, that is why I sent My Son to die for you

Its jealousy, MY jealousy for YOU, is as enduring as the grave

Not only did I endure the grave, but I conquered it for you

My Love flashes like fire, My love burns for YOU, eternally

It is the brightest kind of flame and can never be extinguished

Together let’s covenant in communion, as I remind you that -

Only I can satisfy the longings of your heart

Trust Me with the things that matter to you

They matter to Me too

I have the answers to your prayers

Not this world or man

True satisfaction comes from Me

I will truly satisfy you

In remembrance of My Son and in remembrance of My love, hear these words from Me from Matthew 5:6 -

Blessed are you My daughter

Because you hunger and thirst for righteousness

Because You hunger and thirst for My Son

You are satisfied

Now, take the symbol of My body and eat -

Do this in remembrance of Me

Be satisfied

Take the symbol of My blood and drink -

Do this in remembrance of Me

Hear MY words -

I AM The Lord, your solid rock, Your fortress, Your rescuer. I AM your God and your rock— In whom you take refuge! — I AM your shield, I AM the strength of your salvation, I AM your place of safety. Psalm 18:2 CEB

You are wise because you who hear these words of mine and do them, you are wise because you built your house upon The Rock. The rain will come down, the floods arrive, and the winds blow and beat against your house, and it will not fall, for you have been founded upon The Rock. Matthew 7:24 – 25

Hear these words from ME -

I see you

You are beautiful to Me

The foundation of our relationship is clean and strong

You don’t owe Me anything

I’ve done this just for you

You no longer have to try and prove yourself to Me

I love you

Continue to live your life from this vantage point

Your future is filled with hope

Hear this truth in 1 John 4:17 -

This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. NIV

Let that sink in -

In this world, we are like Jesus.

As Jesus is in the world so are we.

As Jesus is in the world so are you.

Close your eyes and say -

As Jesus is in this world, so am I.

Hear this truth in John 8:12 as Jesus spoke to the people; as He speaks to you -

I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. NIV

Hear this truth in Matthew 5:14 -

You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. NLT

Hear Jesus speaking this truth to you -

I Am the light of the world

You are the light of the world

As I Am in this world so are you

Hear this truth in John 1:5 –

The Light shines in the darkness. The darkness has never been able to put out the Light. NLV

Hear Jesus speaking this truth to you -

My light shines in the darkness

Your light shines in the darkness

And darkness has never been able to put out the Light

As I Am in this world so are you

Hear Jesus speaking this truth to you in Romans 5:20 -

Wherever sin has abounded

Wherever darkness has increased

My grace has abounded more

My light has increased even more

Hear this truth in Ephesians 2:6 -

For he (God) raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. NLT

Jesus is seated with God in heaven

You are seated with God in heaven

As Jesus is in this world so are you

Ephesians 4:8 says -

When he (Jesus) ascended to the heights, (heaven) he led a crowd of captives and gave gifts to his people. (You are His people) NLT

You are seated with Christ in heavenly places

ANOINTED – Session 1

Esther of this generation, the time promised by God has come at last! HE has announced. “The Kingdom of God is at hand!”

Esther of this generation, decree:

King Jesus lives inside of me.

My body is not only a temple of the Holy Spirit, but also a kingdom which God has given me to have dominion over.

I have been adopted by my Heavenly Father into His royal family.

Every part of my life has mattered. God has been preparing me for the palace since the time I was conceived.

King Jesus the Anointed One lives in me. Therefore, I am anointed.

I have been anointed, to display The King and His Kingdom, as His beloved here on earth.

I am a living stone, here on earth, reflecting the beauty, and presence of Jesus Christ.

The legacy of Jesus lives in me and through me.

FAVORED – Session 2

Esther of this generation: God has prepared a table in the presence of your enemies.

The enemy of your family.

The enemy of your finances.

The enemy of your health.

The enemy of your legacy.

Will you join your King Jesus at the table that He has prepared for you?

Esther of this generation, decree:

God has turned the tables in my favor.

God has turned to good what my enemy has meant for harm.

Goodness and mercy surely follow me all the days of my life.

I am highly favored by God.

Jesus has won the battle against the enemy of my legacy. Therefore, I have won every battle against the enemy of my legacy.

CELEBRATED – Session 3

Esther of this generation, strength and dignity are your clothing. You look at your future and smile.

Esther of this generation, decree:

I have been judged as righteous and in perfect standing with the King.

I have been given the upper hand.

I recover and plunder all that was taken from me.

I am called a friend of God. What I want to see happen here on earth matters to Him. My desires matter to God.

King Jesus has given me an open invitation into His courts. He longs to hear what I have to say. He is pleased with me.

I am celebrated in God’s kingdom.

Through the scepter of the cross, I walk in the authority of the King. Whatever I bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever I loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

The cross is a symbol of God’s celebration over my life for generations to come.

PRAYER:

Oh God, lover of my soul, you who know me intimately, see all of me, and still love me. I want to know you more. I no longer hide, in shame from you. Instead, I run into your loving arms. Jesus you are my bridegroom. You are the object of my affection. In the morning, I wake up thinking about you. When I go to sleep, you are the last thing on my mind. Thoughts of You, are like a love song, infusing my sleep, with sweet rest. Ever present God, who chooses to be near me, and calls me His bride, I receive the Holy Spirit, as an engagement ring, and promise of your love for me.

DECLARATIONS:

I declare that I am the apple of your eye. You hide me in the shadows of your wings and draw me close to you. The truth of your love is my shield and armor

I will taste you more

In His ascension you left with me the gift of the Holy Spirit like an engagement ring to confirm your promises. I am your spotless bride; your love overwhelms me.

I declare that:

I have all authority and I have all power because of the cross

I have an inheritance and I have a legacy because of the cross

I am not alone. I have the mighty Counselor, the Spirit of Truth, that is always with me because of the cross

Hope Alive

“Being part of New Creation Ministries has afforded me the opportunity to connect with other powerful moves of God. My experience at the Chosen by Love Day Retreat has an indelible affect on me. To walk with other women, knowing how we all fall short, struggle with pain, loss, brokenness, but we serve a God who sees us, cares for us, leads us. My personal experience was one of being met by God during prayer at the day retreat. He brought a memory of a fear I had as a young child, wanting to get up on a horse, but terrified at age 3. This was an actual memory, I had never pulled up before. At our family vacation in Michigan at a country life resort, there was someone that hoisted me up on this horse, that had a handsome cowboy to hold on to. He patted my leg and off we road, exhilarated. Jesus spoke to me regarding fears I’m facing today and said, “I’m that handsome cowboy and I will keep you safe.”

It's stepping into opportunities like the Chosen by Love Day Retreat that open doors of more intimacy with the Lord and connect us with integral people in the kingdom as allies in our journey. What a blessing to get to experience all the love put into this event, and to reach out to any in need through our ministry of caring for those who have suffered relational brokenness. Another opportunity for someone to walk through the door to healing and transformation through Christ.”
